How to Use

• Usage
  Properly prepared interior ceilings of smooth or textured drywall, plaster, masonry, wood and acoustical tile
• Prep
  Remove all surface contamination by washing with an appropriate cleaner, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Scrape and sand peeled or damaged paint to a sound surface. Sand glossy surfaces dull. Seal stains from water, smoke, ink, pencil, grease, etc. with the appropriate primer/sealer. Caulk around windows, doors, and other openings after spot priming bare surfaces with HGTV HOME™ by Sherwin-Williams Ceiling Paint.
• Application
  Stir paint thoroughly. Intermix containers for uniformity. Apply product when surface, air and product temperatures are between 50-90°F. Apply with a premium-quality 3/8" - 3/4" nap synthetic roller cover (woven roller covers are preferred like Purdy® White Dove™), nylon/polyester brush (like Purdy® XL®) or an airless sprayer (2000 psi, .015"-.019" tip). Thinning not required. Paint the ceiling first, then walls and trim. For roller application, cover approximately a 2' x 2' area using an "N" pattern. Finish with light roller strokes in one direction. Surface conditions and application technique may impact coverage.

  Dry Time @ 77 °F and 50 % Relative Humidity
  To The Touch: 30 minute - 2 hour
  Recoat: 2 hour
• Clean-up & Disposal
  Clean spills, spatters, hands and tools immediately after use with soap and warm water. After cleaning, flush spray equipment with mineral spirits to prevent rusting of the equipment.
